Fire Guidance
UK LLP No Nonsense Fire Consulting
An Introduction

Fire Guidance UK LPP
Independence
FGUK is not tied to any other corporate body, ensuring fully independent and unbiased fire safety advice can be provided to your project.
FGUK is not affiliated with any manufacturer or supplier of fire safety products or materials and is therefore advantageously placed to provide totally impartial advice with regard to all aspects of fire safety for your project.
Where FGUK may be requested to review/assess/report on another company's output, a conflict of interest assessment is always carried out to ensure that there are no potential contractual clashes before any appointment is made.
Client-centric
Client requirements are prioritised over internal targets, offering tailored fire safet solutions rather than 'boxed' provisions.
Perhaps your project requires an assessment related to only one or a couple of elements of Part B to the Building Regulations - FGUK will advise whether this is the correct approach or whether a more detailed involvement is likely to be required - FGUK will never however 'sell' your project a full fire strategy involvement if it is not required.
FGUK can look at a singler element of a project, or a project in its entirety, from planning and design through to contruction and completion/handover.
Cross-sector expertise
FGUK have experience working on projects ranging from primary schools to power stations, with a broad industry knowledge.
A short selection of sectors is represented in the rolling slide show below but the FGUK profile linked at the bottom of this page provides a more expansive insight into FGUK's cross-sector experience.
Comprehensive services
FGUK offer a comprehensive set of services aimed at getting the best from your project in terms of fire safety, without compromising design aspirations.
A list of typical services we offer can be found further down this page, however if there is something you wish to dicscuss that is not on the list - just drop us a line using the email address at the bottom of the page.
Value engineering
FGUK recognises the financial contraints that many projects are placed under and strive to minimise the cost implications of fire safety provisions whilst ensuring that any such provisions are not compromised.
Early incorporation of fire safety measures in the planning and design process ensures that there are no 'nasty' surprises down the line. Indeed, the current requirments for fire safety statements and strategies to be in place at planning stage are designed to bring fire safety to the fore at the very beginning of any project.
